Application

Model DEM471RA single phase electronic multi-rate prepayment front board installed active energy meter is a kind of single phase two wire active energy meter with which one purchases electricity by IC card, and carries out electric energy measuring, ladder rate, load control and electricity management.

The meter completely accords with relevant technical requirements of class 1 single phase active energy meter stipulated in international standard IEC 62053-21. It can accurately and directly measure 50Hz or 60Hz active energy consumption from single phase AC electricity net. It is used for setting indoor or outdoor meter box. This meter has LED display showing power. And there is far infrared communication module in it, which makes reading the meter and setting the system parameters conveniently. It has following features: good reliability, light weight, specious nice appearance, convenient installation, etc.

Functions and features

● Standard configuration: the system of one meter plus one card can repeat input money from PC machinery with IC programmer.

● There is a clock which implements ladder rate, and there is far infrared communication module in it that is used for checking the clock, reading the meter and setting the system parameters.

● It has IC card with code and data against false data. The standard configuration adopts storage IC card, and you may select logic encryption card (Product Configuration code is RE) or non-contact RF card. (Product Configuration code is RI)

● Standard configuration works with payment by kWh, and you may select payment by money. (Please specify when ordering).

● Standard configuration of the prepayment management system is designed with single machine version, and you may select network version. (Please specify when ordering).

● It features load control and automatic fault detection and instructions, with function of open terminals cover and detection that opens terminals cover if needed and cut power.

● 6 LED digits display or 5+1 digits display (99999.1kWh) is available, and you may select 7 LED digits display. (Product Configuration code is SA).

● A port of pulse output passive closed (polarity), complying with standard IEC 62053-31 and standard DIN 43864.

● Two LED instructions signal of power impulse (red) and direction of the flow of load current (yellow).

● Automatic detection of the direction of the flow of load current. When the yellow LED displays, that means the direction of the flow of load current is reversed.

● Single direction, single component measurement, single phase, and two wire active energy consumption, it is irrelevant with direction of the flow of load current, complying with standard IEC 62053-21.

● Direct connect operation, there are two types to select. Standard configuration type 1B wiring, may select type 1A wiring (Product Configuration code is RB).

● Front board three fixed installation comes with the standard configuration extension terminals cover. In order to protect the meter for the sake of user safety, you may select short terminals cover. (Product Configuration code is RC).
